Low tide
Last day on Koh Chang we took a motorbike ride around the island looking or a good beach to explore. This one had low tide and we were able to almost walk half way to another island.

Nature sometimes is amazing /// all the ways plants and animals have evolved to survive. I guess these trees do not want anyone or anything climbing to the top. I think the fruits of these trees are reserved only for the ones that can fly.

We hit all 4 islands on yesterday's kayaking adventure....got bit pink (sunburnt) a little bit. So I think today's activities will have to be jungle trekking, waterfalls searching and swimming in a cold stream.

Just kayaked an hour out to a chain of small uninhibited islands. This was the first stop, no beaches just a rocky island but beautiful nonetheless.

Riverside
Today we decided to seek out Koh Kret, an island located in the middle of the Chaophraya river north of Bangkok, one of the few places left in the Bangkok area not overrun by 7elevens, fast food chains and high rise condos - just the traditional slow Thai lifestyle & some hand crafted pottery. Our method to getting there was not the most direct, but we got there cheap. Home > walk > sky train > river boat > walk > bus > motorbike taxi > ferry > and finally Koh Kret. How we are getting back is another question to be determined......

Udaipur to Delhi 12 hour sandy & dusty non AC 3 tier sleeper (open air) train through desert and cities, hanging off the side of the train and enjoying the sandy & rocky landscape, ancient mountainside forts in the distant and watching the sunset. 2am - 2 people kicked off for jumping on the train without tickets and a failed bribery attempt of the ticket master. Sleeping with one eye open as random people jumped on the car along the way. Unusable toilets and unclose-able car door. Bars on the windows, no pillow, no blanket. All part of the adventure.
